2014 – A Year of Change

Looking back at all the events this year that have happened, I realised that have gone through so much. There are always recurring periods of happiness, sadness, excitement, boredom, pain and healing. For me this year was marked with moving to a new country, graduating, entering a new school, saying goodbye to old friends and saying hello to old friends.
 
I don’t remember all of the events in my life very well. Too many things come and go, so it becomes difficult to keep track of cherished memories. Thankfully though, I am a regular Facebook user and from there I can go through and mark the milestones in my life.

Having travelled to different places around the world, I was able to experience various exotic cuisines and dishes. I enjoy trying out foreign foods, and I enjoy it even more knowing that what I order would not cost me an arm and a leg. Not only you get to save money, but I also get to mingle with the locals, use some of the language I picked up and savour authentic local cuisine.

I clambered clumsily up the sturdy metal ladder adjoining the door of the lofty, unvisited attic. I came upstairs armed with my weapons: a featherduster and a broomstick in one hand, and a bottle of multipurpose cleaning fluid and a rag in the other.
